Because leisure and especially with the family is very important in our lives, in August as most people who have the fortune to work (which is something in this day and age) it's time to leave a few days of vacation and break the routine of the year, forget about work, time and yes, our beloved bicycle. As we are five and each think of a way, the holiday usually divide into two parts, the first we usually go to mountain areas and make excursions around (holidays) and in part segtunda few days we'll frolic the beach. This year we decided to Álava, a province just over tourist unknown speaking, and make a series of visits around the area. Well worth a visit for traveling through the area I will propose the following:
- Marques de Riscal Winery . It is best to arrange a visit in advance to see the whole complex of the city of wine where you can admire the magnificent building designed by Frank O. Gehry which houses a hotel.
- Getxo. Both the Vizcaya Bridge as its promenade, are a must if you are near the area. Salt
- Añana . Actualmante are being restored and can reliza a guided tour.
- Valderejo Natural Park. Apart from its scenic and natural values, what I liked about this park is the little impact of visitors and surrounding villages in the environment.
